Visual Arts

Is there dedicated space for art teachers to facilitate the learning of Visual Arts at secondary grade level? For all school levels is there flexible space to use for art?

Visual Arts activities include drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, graphic design, 3D modeling and photography. Provide spaces to support a variety of visual arts programs.  For all school levels provide dedicated labs for visual arts. Arts Labs can also serve as "Fab Labs" to fabricate physically and digitally; robotics, science, STEM (Science Technology Engineering Math): and can be used for before and after school programs.

Highly visible and accessible to all learners to support teachers ability to help their students increase their knowledge in general subject areas while fostering a greater understanding and appreciation of the arts.

Student Access

Connect primary circulation pathways with Visual Arts and Performing Arts learning spaces for easy access to all learners and educators.

Outdoor Learning

Provide direct access to the exterior for arts activities such as large or messy projects, drawing, photography, ceramics, set building for theater, music, dance and drama rehearsals and performances. The direct visual connection is important for teachers to be able to supervise students working outdoors while others work indoors.
