Individual Areas
Individual areas to concentrate, read, reflect; including quiet study and focus.
Media Resources, formally referred to as the Library or Media Center, has become a highly flexible hub for activities of all kinds. Activities include quiet individual reading, individual and group research, small group collaboration, large group presentations, media circulation and downtime—from brain breaks to socializing with friends.
Is quiet space the learner can access to engage in reading?
Are there accent walls, ceilings, or flooring color changes to make the space feel like it was made for the child?
Zoning and Acoustics
Is there furniture, fixtures and equipment and enhanced acoustics to define zones to support multiple learning activities simultaneously?
